Please join Darian Gore and John Ahern on May 27 from 3:00 P.M. for a free workshop on improvisation for collaboration. Attendees will work on skills for live group performances by focusing on skills to help actors collaborate together on and off stage. Some side benefits will be learning how an actor and director can work to find new aspects of characters. Most importantly, just come to have fun with other actors in discovering spontaneous genius. This inaugural workshop will have lots of fun improvisation as we launch our Actors’ Workshop series.
The workshop will be held at Clean Building, 2F Studio A. A 10-minute walk north from Exit 1 at Imaike Station, Nagoya.
14-13 Hōnenchō, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya-shi, Aichi-ken 464-0076
Please R.S.V.P. if you can. We look forward to seeing you there.

OPEN CALL FOR CAST AND CREW
THE GIFT OF THE MAGI
Adapted by Jon Jory
Original Story by O. Henri
The classic story of gift-giving and personal sacrifice by O. Henry has been adapted for stage and given a romantic and comical spin by playwright Jon Jory.
SYNOPSIS
The story centers on the young but poor couple of Della and Jim. Their love for each other is unquestionable and their only desire is to see to the other’s happiness. Christmas is approaching and neither have the money to buy a proper gift. Unbeknownst to each other, Della and Jim both make great personal sacrifices in order to procure the money needed. A special and memorable lesson is learned by all when they realize that the gift of love is more valuable than anything money can buy.

The rains canceled today’s Coin Drop ’62’s performance at AichiVision, and we hope that Typhoon 16 will pull up some warm and sunny weather when it passes through later in the week. So, please come out and rock with us at Tsuruma Park in Nagoya City on next Sunday, Sept. 25th. Brian Cullen will belt out his tunes from the upcoming musical Jukebox Paradise. Get your advanced price tickets today.
Our 60’s Trivia Night to promote this late autumn’s performance of Jukebox Paradise was held on July 22nd and fired excitement to the audience and neuronal stress and great prizes to the winners. The trivia battle was refereed by our president Ashley James and fought by 3 teams: Jukebox Paradise, Greatness, and Anonymous. Brian Cullen, the writer of the upcoming show, proved his stuff along with his Jukebox Paradise teammates and won the game to take away Red Rock coupons. Jeffery Clap, actor in Jukebox Paradise, tried his best to have his team live up to its name but settled for second place and gift certificates from The Meat Guy. Anonymous pulled up the rear and came in a close third winning a gift certificate from Sienna Restaurant. Other prizes awarded bottles of wine from Marquee Bar in Gifu City. Thanks to all who attended and to our wonderfully generous sponsors.
