Dance in English Jan 2020

Grease lightning, go grease lightning! Nagoya Players Junior’s first Dance in English workshop was a blast! We had a fantastic turnout and filled the dance studio with both kids and parents.

Instructor Jeff Fritch lead the children through a series of specially designed exercises to teach them English and Dance fundamentals at the same time. The kids learned how to count in rhythm, parts of the body, directions and a special ‘Jeff’s Alphabet Song’.

After a quick water break the kids returned to learn some dance steps from the famous Grease Lightning routine from the 1978 musical Grease. It was pretty challenging but the kids (and moms and dads:) had a great time moving to the music and learning the steps.
