Sing in English ワークショップ

Sing in English ワークショップ

IPE Academy and Nagoya Players are very proud to announce a collaborative project to help children with their English and give them an introduction to stage performance.

Nagoya Players’ Actress & Singer, Denise Hewitt, will lead students through a 12 lesson course. The workshop will start with an introduction to English phonics and pronunciation. Students will then begin training in singing basics and learn how properly breath, sing in key, and harmonize.

Students will conclude the workshop by mastering a rendition of the classic Christmas carol, Up on the Housetop. Children who successfully complete the workshop will then have the opportunity to sing live on stage during a performance of Nagoya Players’ The Gift of the Magi, December 7-8, 2019 at Higashi Playhouse.

    English Education Initiative (EEI)

Nagoya Players’ English Education Initiative (EEI) has been developed to encourage a life-long love of language study in the residents of Aichi. From youth to adults we are creating materials and organizing events that will aid learners in their pursuit of mastering the English language. And have fun at the same time!

We firmly believe that early exposure to English is a key indicator for future success. Children who develop foreign language skills early in life routinely show improved performance at school and gain access to better career opportunities.

With each Nagoya Players’ show we also organize Kids, Beginner, Intermediate and Advance English programs to encourage everyone to further pursue their studies.

If you’d like an Nagoya Player’s EEI event hosted at your school, business or organization please email us at NagoyaPlayers@gmail.com
