Edward Albee Showcase, Opening Weekend

Edward Albee Showcase, Opening Weekend

This weekend, Nagoya Players kicks off its 2023 season with the Edward Albee Showcase!

The cast and crew just finished their final rehearsal yesterday, and the show is looking great. Edward Albee’s shows may be a bit different than what you are used to. If you’re in the mood for some eccentric intellectualism, we’ve got three fun one-acts for you to enjoy: The Sandbox (1959), The American Dream (1961), and Counting the Ways (1976).

We’ll be performing these plays in an intimate, blackbox setting at Sasashima Studio. Seating is very limited. We still have a few seats left, so please don’t miss out on the chance to see Edward Albee’s shows, one of theater’s most important figures, performed live.

Tickets available from Cast & Crew, The Rock – Nagoya, and IPE Academy.
