The siren’s call of Tokyo has lured away another of Nagoya’s favorite performers. Holly McNamee will be leaving Nagoya this March to pursue career opportunities in Tokyo. Nagoya Players sincerely thanks Holly for all the time, effort and energy she has dedicated to our group. She was an incredible MRS GIBBS in Our Town, and I don’t think any of us will ever forget her monologue, The Woman who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy, in The Vagina Monologues. Tokyo is gaining a truly great talent. We will miss her, and we wish her the best of luck in her future pursuits.

Replacing Holly as SHE in Edward Albee’s Counting the Ways will be up-and-comer Emily Bailey, and replacing Emily as MOMMY in The Sandbox will be newcomer Erica Hara. We’ve played a bit of musical chairs, but both Emily and Erica have taken on the challenge of learning their new roles, and have looked very strong in rehearsals.

The Edward Albee Showcase is fast approaching. Tickets have been moving quickly, but we still have seats available. Please don’t wait till the last minute to get yours.
Tickets available from Cast & Crew, The Rock Aussie Sports Bar & Grill – Nagoya and IPE Academy. You can also RSVP and pay via bank transfer by visiting our website:
